1- The Endless Chore Of Tasks
Most people don’t like washing dishes. These simple tips and tricks will help you do more than wash dishes. These tips and tricks won’t stop you from washing dishes but they will make washing easier than you think.
2 – Bag it
If you place small items in the silverware basket, such as bottle caps, cocktail forks, and children’s toys or pacifiers, they can get lost in your washing machine. These items should not be thrown straight into the washer. Instead, place them in a laundry bag. They will not be thrown in the machine or lost. When carrying a load, make sure to place the bag on top of the rack.
3- Mix soap
Blenders and food processors can be difficult to clean due to their sharp blades. First, run soapy water in a blender to clean food debris.
4 use plastic containers
If you are responsible for cleaning up after dinner, take care of your house. Instead of putting your dirty dishes in the sink and letting them sit there, place them in a plastic bag. You can place the container on the countertop or, if smaller, in the sink to free up space for other tasks. Hot water and soap can help to depressurize the dirtiest items.
5 Use a soap dispenser
Although buying detergent in bulk can save money, large bottles can be difficult to use with wet hands. You can place a refillable detergent dispenser next to your sink. Then, you can fill up the large container by placing it under the sink. It takes just a few seconds to get soap on your skin.
6- Don’t rinse your dishes!
Do not wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. Dishes that have small food particles on them act as an aggregate, which helps to make dishes cleaner during the washing cycle.
7- Flip your spoons and forks
To avoid sticking forks or spoons, make sure you change the position of your cutlery when placing it in the dishwasher. For obvious safety reasons, sharp knives should always be inspected before being placed in the dishwasher.
8 – Plan your cutlery ahead
While you load the dishwasher, set aside the cutlery. It saves time when you store dishes and doesn’t take much time washing the utensils.
9- Clean while you cook
After you’re done with the kitchen chores, wash the pots and saucepans. It is easier to clean leftover food when it is still hot, and you have less work to do after eating.
10- Use cold water to make dairy products and starches
Although it may seem counterintuitive to say, using cold water (not hot!) to clean your lasagna pans will make the task easier. Hot water can make dairy products and starches stickier and more difficult to clean.
11- Make an additional drying rack
You have a small counter but still, need to dry dishes. A cooling colander can be placed over the halfway mark of a double sink to create an additional colander. This will double the drying surface of your dish. Additionally, because clean dishes flow directly to the drain, it keeps countertops dry.
12 – Don’t delay
You can make dishes by hand or in the dishwasher. Make sure to treat them immediately after you use them. This will prevent them from sticking to your cutlery and pots and pans. You won’t have to scrub the cooked dirt by not washing them.
